Hey everyone! My name is Diogo Foresti and I will be your BSBMUN IX Co Secretary General. I have always been intrigued by MUN - from hearing tales from my older brother, to attending my very own conferences - it has always been a constant in my life. When I am not debating, you can find me in the kitchen, pretending to be a world-class chef or in the movies with a couple of good friends and a big bucket of popcorn. However, you can take a guy out of MUN but not MUN out of a guy (that's a saying, right?); thus, I carry out all of my life activities with either the eloquence of a good point of information or the organized chaos of unmoderated caucus. MUN has definitely impacted me in more ways than I can remember, and I hope I am able to share this passion with all of you. It is a pleasure to be a leader in such a prestigious event, and an honor to work alongside the rest of the leadership team. BSBMUN is an event focused on expanding human connection through critical thinking, global awareness and debate in an environment that promotes diversity and, in the words of last year's Co-Secretary General Paola Arantes, "encourages the youth to enact change". I am thrilled to have all of you over to this amazing event, and sure that the discussions had here will impact more than just your resolutions. Feel free to to contact me in the event of any questions at diogoforesticastro@gmail.com

Hello everyone! My name is Mariana Heringer, I am a junior at the American School of Brasília and have been a part of MUN since 2019. I attended conferences such as BSBMUN, BRAMUN, THIMUN 2023 and SPMUN (in which I won the “best delegate” award). I was part of the BSBMUN VIII secretariat last year, due to my commitment to the club and willingness to get better, I've come back as Co-Secretary General. I am really excited about finally hosting BSBMUN. This will be a great one!

Hello, everyone! My name is Julia, and it is a great honor to be serving as your COO in the ninth edition of BSBMUN. I have participated in MUN since my freshman year, and I’m currently a senior at the American School of Brasilia (EAB). MUN has helped me discover my passions and transformed me from a shy public speaker who could not understand procedures into learning about diplomacy, moderated debate, and international relations. I have also met some of my best friends through MUN, and I hope to help make this edition of BSBMUN as exciting and lively as MUN has always been for me. I can’t wait to work alongside the rest of the secretariat to make this edition of BSBMUN as smooth and successful as it’s always been, and especially to see you all demonstrate your knowledge and diplomacy throughout the conference. I hope you all are as eager as I am! If you have any concerns, feel free to contact me. I can’t wait to meet you all!

Hi everyone! I'm Lucas Chueri, a senior at the American School of Brasilia. I was born in São Paulo and raised in Brasília throughout my childhood and adolescence. I've been involved in Model United Nations (MUN) since 6th grade. As a lifelong member of EAB, my current aspiration is to contribute to the community by taking on a role where I can create a positive impact. I'm enthusiastic about BSBMUN and feel deeply thankful to be part of this exceptionally hardworking leadership team. This marks my second time serving on the BSBMUN Secretariat. Previously, I served as the head chair for the Portuguese Committee at the BSBMUN VIII conference. I hold high expectations for the conference and for all of you. I hope that we meet your expectations and that everything runs seamlessly. Beyond my MUN involvement, I take pleasure in watching UFC and boxing events, and I'm also an avid manga reader. If you'd like to get in touch with me, please don't hesitate to reach out via email at lucasgchueri@gmail.com or by phone at (61) 99877-2504. Looking forward to seeing you all here!
