Meet the Chairs
Head Chair: Thomas Rhéaume
Hello Everyone! I am Thomas Rhéaume and I am currently a senior at the American School of Brasilia (EAB). I am immensely honoured to be serving as head chair of the political committee for the 2022 edition of BSBMUN. I have been a member of a MUN club since the 7th grade and have had many great opportunities to attend conferences around the world. MUN has helped cultivate my passion for debating and diplomacy and has taught me many valuable lessons. This will be my first conference as a chair and I am extremely excited to contribute to making this conference a memorable experience for all. In my spare time, I love playing Soccer and Basketball. Vice Chair: Paula Lassance
Hi everyone! My name is Paula Lassance and I’ve been a part of MUN since 2016. I’ve attended several conferences such as SAjMUN and BSBMUN, and have earned a Best Delegate award for representing Afghanistan in the 2014 Mosul Conflict as part of the Security Council. I started MUN back in 6th grade just out of curiosity and it became such a pivotal element in my life that it has fully influenced my chosen career path. I’m proud to be a part of such a dedicated community of people who share my love for MUN and strive to actively share its mission. I’m also very excited to be a part of the Chairs for this year’s BSBMUN conference. Although this is my first time as a co-chair, I will strive to fulfill my roles and responsibilities as best as I can! If you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to contact me at eab202302933@eabddf.br or +55 (61) 99871-1961. I’ll see you at the conference!
